A pair of heavyweights are set to collide at UFC On Fox 25 as Damian Grabowski is going to be in action against Christian Colombo. This fight was originally set for UFC Fight Night 109, but both fighters pulled out of the fight due to injuries.
Colombo (8-2-1) is currently winless under the UFC banner, suffering a defeat to Luis Henrique and fighting Jarjis Danho to a majority draw. Colombo fought one UFC veteran before signing with the promotion last year, which was a loss to Viktor Pesta at European MMA 1. It has been almost two years since the last time Colombo earned a victory, which came at Real Fight Championships 3 in December 2015.
Grabowski (20-4-0) is currently winless in UFC competition, dropping fights to both Derrick Lewis and Anthony Hamilton. Grabowski also competed three times in Bellator MMA, with his most notable win coming over World Series Of Fighting veteran Dave Huckaba. Grabowski hasn’t earned a win himself since he defeated Konstantin Gluhov at M-1 Challenge 53 in November 2014.
UFC On Fox 25 takes place on Saturday, July 22 from the Nassau Coliseum in Long Island, New York with Chris Weidman and Kelvin Gastelum headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which airs live on Fox.
