The One Championship Heavyweight Title is on the line at One Championship: Conquest Of Champions as Brandon Vera defends the gold against Mauro Cerilli.
Vera (15-7-0-1NC) is going to be making the first defense of the championship, which he won by defeating Hideki Sekine by first round knockout at One Championship: Age Of Domination. Vera is also returning to action for the first time in almost two years, with his last bout happening in December of 2018. Vera also spent over seven years competing in the UFC, earning a record of 8-7-0-1NC in the promotion.
Cerilli (12-2-0) is making his One Championship debut in this bout and does so on the strength of a five fight winning streak. Cerilli is also the current Cage Warriors Heavyweight Champion, defeating Karl Moore at Cage Warriors 92 to win the gold. Cerilli has seen just four of his professional MMA fights go the distance and Cerilli won each of those bouts.
