Holly Holm Open To Boxing Ronda Rousey, Doubts Rousey Will Fight Again

At UFC 193 in November 2015, Holly Holm pulled off one of the most shocking upsets in UFC history when she knocked out Ronda Rousey to win the UFC Women's Bantamweight Championship.

Rousey would take over a year off from competition before returning at UFC 207 in December 2016, suffering another KO loss at the hands of Amanda Nunes. She hasn't fought since.

Holm has stepped away from the world of MMA and is set to return to the boxing ring on June 28, 2025 against Yolanda Ochoa.

Speaking to TMZ, Holm was asked about potentially facing Ronda in a boxing bout.

"Of course," she said. "I think that's just maybe hypothetical. I don't think that would ever happen, but of course I would. The thing is, it all comes down to who wants to fight. She's got her family. She's got another kid that she just had. She's living her life. I highly doubt she would ever want to fight again."

Holm is signed to Jake Paul's Most Valuable Promotions.

Rousey joined WWE after her MMA career, but finished her run with the company at WWE SummerSlam 2023.
