However, a Russian MMA organizations apparently offered the flyweight star a sum of $100,000 for a single fight in the country.

“That card wasn’t a good show,” McCall said on The Fighter & The Kid podcast. “I didn’t watch it, but from what I heard it was a bad show, it was boring. So we would’ve gotten a good chance to get a fight bonus. If I could’ve walked away with an extra $50,000 on top of a winning purse, that’s nice.” I did just get an offer from Russia – I’m not saying I’ll take it, but they offered me $100,000.”

McCall hasn’t fought in over two years, with his last fight being a unanimous decision loss to John Lineker at UFC 183 in January 2015. The longtime flyweight star has fought in the United States, Brazil, Canada and the Unkited Kingdom, but he has yet to compete on Russian soil.

UFC 208 was supposed to be McCall’s last fight in the promotion, but he pulled out of the fight due due health reasons, something he still hasn’t recovered from.
