This Friday Night’s Bellator 185 card has undergone two huge changes that will affect the five fight main card.

First, welterweight fighter Brennan Ward has suffered an injury and he has been pulled from his co-main event bout against David Rickels.

Bellator MMA officials have opted to pull Rickels from the card as well instead of finding him a replacement opponent to fight.

There is no word yet on whether or not Rickels and Ward will get paired up again when Ward heals, or if the two fighters will move onto new opponents.

Also, Javier Torres has suffered an undisclosed injury and he has been pulled from a bout against Neiman Gracie.

Gracie is going to remain on the card against late replacement opponent Zak Bucia, who has competed in the Strikeforce promotion.

Additionally, a lightweight division attraction between Ryan Quinn and Marcus Surin has been promoted from the preliminary card to fill the final spot on the main card.

Bellator 185 takes place on Friday, October 20 from the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut with Gegard Mousasi and Alexander Shlemenko headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which airs live on Spike TV.
