Injuries Change LFA 11 Main Event

Daniel Madrid has suffered an injury and he is off of the Legacy Fighting Alliance 11 card, replacing him in the main event against Matthew Frincu is Maycon Mendonca.

Frincu (10-2-0) is currently undefeated under the LFA banner, having defeated Kris Hocum by unanimous decision at LFA 5. Frincu also competed three times in the World Series Of Fighting, defeating Eric Regan and Danny Davis Jr., while suffering a lone defeat to Abubakar Nurmagomedov. Frincu will also be entering the fight on the strength of a three fight winning streak and he hasn’t suffered a defeat in over a year.

Mendonca (6-1-0) is going to be making his LFA debut in this fight and he’s going to be doing so on a six fight winning streak. Mendonca has split the way he has won his six fights as a pro, with three wins coming by KO/TKO and three wins coming by way of decision. Mendonca hasn’t suffered a defeat in almost four years’ time, with that loss coming to Emanuel De Oliveira Lopes at an In Fight Beach MMA event.

Legacy Fighting Alliance 11 takes place on Friday, May 5 from the Comerica Theater in Phoenix, Arizona with Matthew Frincu and Maycon Mendonca headlining. Fightful is providing quick results of the event once it concludes, which airs live on AXS TV.
