A middleweight division affair is making its way to the UFC 221 card as Israel Adesanya is in action against Rob Wilkinson.

Adesanya (11-0-0) is making his UFC debut in this fight and does so with an undefeated streak that has lasted almost six years. Adesanya has yet to see any of his professional MMA fights go the distance and none of those bouts went past the second round. Adesanya also holds a victory over UFC veteran Melvin Guillard, whom he defeated by TKO at Australian Fighting Championship 20.
Wilkinson (11-1-0) is currently winless under the UFC banner, having dropped a fight to Siyar Bahadurzada at UFC Fight Night Rotterdam. Wilkinson is a longtime veteran of the Brace For War promotion, winning all five fights that he fought there. Wilkinson has only seen one of his eleven pro MMA bouts go the distance and that came against Ben Kelleher at Submission Fight Night 4 in 2013.
