Jake Paul comments on his fight against Mike Tyson getting postponed.
Jake Paul and Mike Tyson were set to clash on July 20, but the fight was delayed due Tyson's health issues. The contest was rescheduled for November 15, and it will be held at AT&T Stadium in Dallas, Texas.
Speaking with Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated, Jake Paul commented on his bout against Tyson getting postponed.
“I definitely was devastated and pretty sad, because I wanted this fight to happen [in July]. I had to take a couple steps back, meditate, and re-shift my focus and my purpose. I’m still training, still getting better on a daily basis because I’m committed to the goal of becoming a world champion," Paul said.
Paul also discussed how the fight getting postponed has allowed him to focus on other projects including the launch of W, his new personal care brand.
Paul was previously listed as a favorite for the fight. More information is available here.
WWE commentator Corey Graves previously said he would start counting the minutes until Jake Paul showed up in the company. Check out his comments here.
