Jarrell Miller Gets Knockout Victory On Matchroom Boxing USA Main Event

Jarrell Miller has scored his second knockout victory in just as many months.

In the main event of a Matchroom Boxing USA show on DAZN, Miller scored a knockdown in the fourth round before knocking out Bogdan Dinu with seconds remaining in the round.

It was a short fight, but one that saw both fighters showcase their skills and take control of the bout. Dinu started off by scoring jabs and 1-2 combinations to Miller and then moving around the ring to avoid his powerful punches. There were a few instances where Dinu tagged Miller and Miller was stunned, but ultimately recovered.

Miller got around to finally landing his power punches in the third round, when he repeatedly connected body shots to Dinu. Miller landed a combination of punches to knock down Dinu in the fourth round that ended with a left hook to the side of Dinu's head. Dinu was slow to get up and was nearly counted out, but Miller quickly went on the attack once Dinu recovered from the knockdown. Miller knocked out Dinu seconds later with another combination that ended in a right hook to Dinu.

Miller's record improves to 23-0-1 and has won his second straight fight by knockout. In Miller's last fight, he knocked out former world champion Tomasz Adamek in the second round of their fight back on October 6 on another Matchroom Boxing USA card.

After the fight, Miller restated his interest in fighting British heavyweights such as Dillian Whyte and Anthony Joshua. Joshua is currently scheduled to defend his unified WBA, WBO and IBF heavyweight titles in April 2019, but Miller is unlikely to be selected as Joshua's opponent, especially since there is still the prospect of WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder fighting Joshua next year after Wilder's December 1 title defense against Tyson Fury.
