The injured fighter was set to fight Warlley Alves in a preliminary card bout, which is set to stream live on UFC Fight Pass. There is no timetable at the moment as to when Wallhaed is expected to return from his injury.

Alves is expected to remain on the card at this time, as UFC officials are currently seeking a replacement for him to compete against.

Alves (10-2-0) enters the fight riding a two fight losing streak, having dropped fights to the duo of Bryan Barberena and Kamaru Usman. Alves had won four fights in the UFC prior to the losing streak, most notably defeating Colby Covington by submission at UFC 194. Alves is also a longtime veteran of the Jungle Fight promotion, winning all of the fights he competed at in the promotion.

UFC Fight Night Gdansk takes place on Saturday, October 21 from the Ergo Arena in Gdansk, Poland with Donald Cerrone and Darren Till headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on UFC Fight Pass.
