Jimi Manuwa and Jan Blachowicz are facing off in a rematch this coming March at UFC Fight Night London.

Although no main event has been announced at this time for the show, a confident Manuwa says his bout could get that coveted spot.

“Yeah, there’s a chance; there’s always a chance,” Manuwa said on The MMA Hour“I main evented the show in London last year and I gave the fans a spectacular knockout. It is what it is, I wouldn’t mind being the main event on it, so we’ll see what happens.”

Manuwa did headline the 2017 edition of UFC Fight Night London, scoring a spectacular knockout over Corey Anderson.

Coach John Kavanagh recently claimed that a welterweight bout between Darren Till and Gunnar Nelson could headline the show, but the UFC has yet to even make that but official in any form.

One reason Manuwa claims he is fighting Blachowicz again is that no other light heavyweights would accept a bout with him.

“A little bit, but that’s due to people turning down fights,” he said. “He’s the only one who step up for me to fight. At the end of the day, he’s the only person I’ve been to a decision with in my career so I have to rectify that and knock him out.”

UFC Fight Night London takes place on Saturday, March 17 from the 02 Arena in London, England with no main event announced at this time. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, while broadcast plans have yet to be finalized.
