Joanna Jedzrejczyk Claims Dana White Was Disgusted By Title Fight Outcome

Former UFC Women’s Strawweight Champion Joanna Jedzrejczyk came up short in her rematch against current champion Rose Namajunas at UFC 223.

The former champion feels cheated by the outcome of the bout and even claims that UFC President Dana White was disgusted by the judge’s scorecards.

“Numbers don’t lie. Commission in New York is very young. They are still learing how to score fights,” Jedrzejczyk said to Polsat Sport. “Dana White was also a little bit disgusted by the scoring.”

Namajunas picked up a unanimous decision victory in the rematch, with all three judge’s scorecards reading scores of 49-46.

Jedrzejczyk even goes as far as to say that one of Namajunas’ coaches believed that she really won the fight, but declined to mention exactly whom that coach was.

“Even Rose’s coach said after the verdict that I won that fight,” says Jedrzejczyk.

It is highly unlikely at this point in time that there would be a third fight between Namajunas and Jedrzejczyk right now because the UFC rarely gives a fighter who has lost two fights to another competitor a third opportunity at them.
