Joe Rogan Says NSAC Stupid For Allowing UFC 232 To Move To California

UFC 232 was moved from Las Vegas, Nevada to Inglewood, California after the Nevada State Athletic Commission (NSAC) found an abnormality in a Jon Jones drug test.

Joe Rogan is going to be at the commentation station this weekend calling the action and he says the NSAC is stupid for allowing these recent events to transpire the way they did.

“What the (expletive) are you doing? You’re going to let him fight in California? Let him (expletive) fight in Nevada,” Rogan said on The Joe Rogan Experience“It’s stupid. It’s stupidity. In this case, it’s stupid. I’m upset. I just wanted this fight to take place without any bull(expletive) behind it. I just want it to be a great fight. It’s an amazing matchup.”

Jones has previously failed two drug tests, with one coming before UFC 200 and the other in line with UFC 214.

California State Athletic Commission Executive Director Andy Foster has spoken out in defense of Jones and Rogan is inclined to believe him.

“Andy Foster – I have a great deal of respect for that guy,” Rogan said. “Very proactive with weight-cutting, very proactive with weight classes, very proactive with a lot of the rules. He’s really good. If he believes this is scientifically proven to be the same exact thing that he’s already been punished for, I agree with him. That guy knows what the (expletive) he’s talking about. Same with (Jeff) Novitzky, same with all the other people saying it’s legit.”

UFC 232 takes place on Saturday, December 29 from The Forum in Inglewood, California with Jon Jones and Alexander Gustafsson headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, with a post-show podcast to follow.
