Joe Rogan Wants Stipe Miocic To Get A Rematch

MMA

UFC color commentator Joe Rogan was calling the action at UFC 226 when Daniel Cormier defeated Stipe Miocic by first round knockout to claim the UFC Heavyweight Title.

The former heavyweight champion has called for a rematch and Rogan is siding with Miocic in his request.

“He should [get a rematch],” Rogan said on The Joe Rogan Experience MMA Show. “People are thinking, the guy wins more UFC title defenses than anybody on the history of the sport and becomes the most accomplished heavyweight of all time. Think about what he’s done. Think about the fact that he knocks out Fabricio Werdum to win the title, he knocks out Alistair Overeem to defend the title, he knocks out Junior dos Santos, beats Francis when everybody is terrified of Francis. He became the most accomplished heavyweight of all time. Then he gets knocked out by a crazy, perfect punch by Daniel Cormier in a perfect strategy.”

Dana White said that former UFC Heavyweight Champion and current WWE Universal Champion Brock Lesnar would fight DC next, assuming the fighter passes all USADA issued drug tests.

Rogan knows Lesnar’s failed history with drug testing, which makes him question of Lesnar can pass the next round of tests from USADA.

“The fight is Brock but the question is, can Brock pass tests?” says Rogan.

Lesnar has already taken his first USADA issued drug test in the last week, it is unknown if he had passed or failed at this time.
