In the world of professional wrestling, "never say never." John Cena thinks so, and said that a CM Punk return to WWE is not completely out of the question.
Cena recently talked with TMZ, who asked him about several topics including a possible co-hosting gig on Live With Kelly, and if he thinks Vince McMahon would ever consider bringing CM Punk back to the WWE. Cena said that if it makes good business sense, then the WWE Chairman will find a way to make a deal happen.
"If I know one thing about my boss Vince McMahon, he always does what's good for business, if it's good for business it will work out," Cena said. "The name in the question doesn't matter about that, if it's good for business it'll work out."
It wouldn't be unlike professional wrestling for CM Punk to return to the world of WWE. There is no clear indication if Punk will fight again in the UFC after his first round loss to Mickey Gall at UFC 203. There's also the fact that Vince McMahon has had a history of fixing relationships with former employees, including The Ultimate Warrior and Bret Hart.
Punk has said in the past that he doesn't see himself ever returning to WWE, where he walked away from the company since the day after the 2014 Royal Rumble. Punk has also said "never say never" when asked if he would come back to professional wrestling, not necessarily in WWE.
