A bantamweight division attraction is the latest addition to UFC Fight Night 108 as #9 John Dodson will be seeing action against #11 Eddie Wineland.

Dodson (18-8-0) has won just one of two fights since returning to the bantamweight division, defeating Manny Gamburyan and suffering a defeat to John Lineker. Dodson has previously challenged for the UFC Flyweight Title, losing both title shots to current champion Demetrious Johnson. Dodson won the UFC Ultimate Fighter 14 at bantamweight, where he defeated former UFC bantamweight Champion TJ Dillashaw in the finals of the reality show.

Wineland (23-11-1) will be entering the fight on the strength of a two fight winning streak, with those pair of wins coming over the duo of Frankie Saenz and Takeya Mizugaki. Wineland has previously challenged for the UFC Bantamweight Title, losing to then champion Renan Barao at UFC 165. Wineland was the first ever World Extreme Cagefighting Bantamweight Champion, defeating fellow UFC veteran Antonio Baneulos to win the gold.

UFC Fight Night 108 takes place on Saturday, April 22 from the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee with Cub Swanson and Artem Lobov headlining. Fightful will be providing live coverage of the event, with a post-show podcast to follow.
