Teixeira (21-3-2) has won five of seven fights thus far under the Bellator MMA banner, which includes a win over UFC veteran Justin Lawrence at Bellator 167. Teixeira has also suffered a pair of defeats in the promotion, with those coming to former featherweight champion Pat Curran and Daniel Weichel. Teixeira has also seen all of his bouts in Bellator MMA go the distance and it has been almost four years since the competitor got a finish in a fight.

Lara (7-1-0) has won her lone bout in the promotion, defeating Lena Ovchynnikova by submission at Bellator 190. Lara has suffered a single defeat as a professional MMA fighter and that came to LFA veteran Sabina Mazo in March of 2015. Lara has also seen just two of her professional MMA fights go the distance, holding a record of 1-1-0 in those encounters.

There is no word yet on when either fighter will step back into the Bellator MMA card, as neither has a bout announced at the moment.
