MMA

Jon Jones is keeping busy during his time off from the UFC.

Currently awaiting his Nevada Athletic Commission hearing in relation to a failed drug test for clomiphene, Jon Jones surprised many in Phoenix, Arizona this weekend when he showed up to a NAGA grappling tournament on Saturday.

Jones dominated his first matchup, quickly taking down and submitting his opponent in approximately a minute. His second round match proved to be a little more difficult, but still no challenge for the current interim UFC Light Heavyweight Champion. Jones was able to gain top control and submit his opponent.

Jones' third match was against a little girl, who dominated the champion on her way to a decisive armbar victory. Jones didn't speak publicly on the matchup, but the armbar was reminiscent of the one applied by Vitor Belfort at UFC 152. You can see the matchup below.

Jone's USADA arbitration hearing has been set for October 31. He was pulled from the main event of UFC 200 due to a failed drug test. Unless there's a settlement before then, Jones will be the first fighter to appeal a USADA sanction through arbitration.
