Jon Jones Goes Off On Twitter About Steroid Use

To say Jon Jones is a little emotional about his current situation is an understatement.

Jon Jones is awaiting a November hearing in regards to a failed out-of-competition drug test that took him out of a planned UFC 200 main event with Daniel Cormier. Since then, Jones has told us that he has 'good news' in regards tio the situation, and his lawyer is claiming that USADA has tested a product that the banned substances in question originated from. Because of this, Jones is aiming for a reduced suspension.

Jones, who has faced his share of criticism in regards to his past (DUIs, arrests, multiple failed drug tests, hit-and-run incidents) sounded off on Twitter, targeting those who say he 'used steroids to get ahead.'

Jones tested positive for clomiphene from a June out-of-competition test. The dominant fighter remains the interim UFC Light Heavyweight Champion despite the situation. Meanwhile, Light Heavyweight Champion Daniel Cormier, who Jones was scheduled to face in July, will defend his title against Anthony "Rumble" Johnson at UFC 206 in Toronto this December.
