Former UFC heavyweight champion Josh Barnett has been a professional MMA fighter for over 23 years, but now he is transitioning to bare-knuckle fighting.
Barrett will make his bare-knuckle debut against MMA star faces Marcin Rozalski at Genesis on Friday, October 23. Genesis is a bare-knuckle boxing event being put together by Maciej Kawulski, who is the co-founder of the KSW MMA promotion out of Poland.
Barnett posted the following video about his bare knuckle debut on Twitter.
The former UFC heavyweight champion has achieved 10 professional MMA wins by way of KO/TKO. Rozalski has a total of four victories as a professional MMA fighter by way of KO/TKO. Barnett is still under contract to Bellator, but he has yet to debut for the promotion and he hasn?t competed in a fight of any kind in over four years.
