A number of top prospects have been announced to take part in Golden Boy Promotions' first boxing card on DAZN of 2019.
The card, scheduled for January 26, 2019, will feature several top prospects including Joshua Franco, Alberto Melian, James Wilson among other boxers announced. Former lightweight world title challenger Mercito Gesta will defend his NABO 135-pound title against an opponent to be named at a later date.
Franco will take on Lucas Fernandez in a rematch from their battle in March that saw Fernandez hand Franco is first pro defeat. The fight will be for the vacant NABF bantamweight belt and it will be Franco's second attempt at winning the title after his last fight against Oscar Negrete ended in a split draw/
The event will be headlined by Jaime Munguia's latest WBO junior middleweight title defense against Japanese contender Takeshi Inoue. The co-main event of the show will feature Jesus Rojas defending his WBA "regular" featherweight title for the first time against Xu Can.

The card will take place at the Toyota Center in Houston and will be streamed in its entirety on DAZN in the United States.
