MMA fans can add another promotion to the list of those who have either canceled or postponed events due to the coronavirus, with that event being Jungle Fight 103, which was scheduled to take place on Saturday.
Jungle Fight President Wallid Ismail issued the following statement on the matter to AG Fight:
“It is a matter of social responsibility. Initially, we were planning to hold the event without an audience and conduct exams on everyone involved with the event. But since many people were coming from outside the state, there would be no way to do the exams and have a result before the event, since it takes about 48 hours to get the report. So, in order to contain this coronavirus advance, we decided to postpone issue 103. At first it will be rescheduled for the last weekend of April or May, depending on the course of the crisis.”
The card for the show would’ve featured:
Kleydson Rodrigues vs. Felipe Pereira
Klinger Pinheiro vs. Francisco Nazareno
Adail Jackson vs. Wanderley Freitas
Leandro Silva vs. David Maklouf
Stephanie Luciano vs. Andreyna Duarte
Rodrigo de Moura vs. Alexsandro Praia
Mailson Rodrigues vs. Lucas Batista
Adailson Silva vs. Y. dos Santos
