Justin Gaethje Calls Dana White’s Accusations “Pretty Crazy”

Justin Gaethje was last seen in action in the main event of UFC Fight Night Vancouver, defeating Donald Cerrone by first round TKO.

UFC President Dana White recently accused Gaethje of turning down fights, but Gaethje calls that accusation and the whole situation surrounding ?pretty crazy.?

?I?ve been trying to figure out what he?s been talking about,? Gaethje said on MMA Tonight (via MMA Junkie). ?I know when he did that interview not too long ago, he kept saying ?Justin Gaethje knows what I?m talking about, what?s going on; he knows what?s happening.? I literally had no idea what he was talking about, so it?s pretty crazy.?

Gaethje also revealed in the interview that there were two bouts against Tony Ferguson that didn?t come together, plus the fighter states that he was offered bouts against Charles Oliveira and Dan Hooker.

The former WSOF Lightweight Champion believes that White isn?t trying to make him look bad, but those above White want to make Khabib Nurmagomedov versus Conor McGregor II

?He has people above him, telling him to put the fight together, this is the fight that?s going to make the most money, I?m sure, just looking from the outside in,? Gaethje said. ?So I?m guessing why he?s saying those things. I don?t think he?s actually trying to make me me look bad. I?ve done everything that man could ever want from a fighter or an employee or someone that he pays money to watch. So I don?t think it?s necessarily anything personal against me, I think it?s people above him telling him they have to make that fight no matter what.?

There is no word at this time as to when Gaethje, who is ranked #3 in the UFC Lightweight Division, will fight again.
