After a four plaus year run in the UFC, lightweight competitor Kajan Johnson has been released by the organization.
It was Johnson who made the announcement through Instagram:
Johnson earned a 4-3-0 record in the promotion (23-13-1 overall), with those victories coming over Lipeng Zhang, Naoyuki Kotani, Adriano Martins and Stevie Ray. Johnson?s last bout in the organization came at UFC Fight Night Moscow, where he suffered a decision loss to Rustam Khabilov.
A now released Johnson was also an integral part of Project Spearhead, which has been working to unionize the UFC fighters.
