Kell Brook Calls Amir Khan A Kardashian

IBF welterweight champion Kell Brook's bad blood with former world champion Amir Khan has found its way into the media despite Brook having another fight at the end of May.

In an interview with The Daily Mail, Brook compared Khan to a member of the Kardashian family. Brook said Khan is attracting media attention for the wrong reasons.

"He's a media w----. It's comical, comical. He's become Amir Kardashian. He has so much drama around him. He's in the papers for the wrong reasons," Brook said.

Talks of a potential big fight between the two British superstars have been on and off, but there was interest from both sides to have a fight. Khan had made comments several weeks ago about how the feud began.

"So the way he's talking I think he wants this big-money fight now," Brook said. "He knows I will beat him up but he may be willing to take his doing for the money. We've heard this stuff from him before so I don't know if he will do it now. But I hope so. I've always wanted to fight him."

Khan was going to fight Manny Pacquiao, but that fight was shot dead by Pacquiao's promoter Bob Arum and Khan is still without an opponent. The former unified light welterweight champion had not fought since losing to Canelo Alvarez on May 2016. Khan will be on Sky Sports' commentary booth for Brook's title defense against Errol Spence Jr. on May 27.
