A featherweight division attraction has been added to UFC Fight Night Auckland as Kevin Aguilar is in action against Zubaira Tukhugov.
The UFC Russia Instagram page announced the bout, although its placement on the card isn’t known at this time.
Aguilar (17-2-0) has won two of three under the UFC banner, having defeated the duo of Rick Glenn and Enrique Barzola. Aguilar also competed on Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series Episode 12, defeating Joey Gomez by split decision. Aguilar has picked up seventeen wins as a professional MMA fighter and ten of them came by way of KO/TKO.
Tukhugov (18-4-1) hasn’t picked up a win in over four years, with that last victory coming over Phillipe Nover at UFC Fight Night 80. Tukhugov has seen his last three bouts go the distance and it has been over five years since the fighter got a finish. Tukhugov has picked up eighteen wins as a professional MMA fighter and eleven of them came by way of decision.
UFC Fight Night Auckland takes place on Saturday, February 22 from the Spark Arena in Auckland, New Zealand with Paul Felder and Dan Hooker headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on ESPN+.
