Kevin Lee Says ACL Surgery Was A Success

Kevin Lee was last seen in the Octagon at UFC Fight Night Brasilia, suffering a third round submission loss to Charles Oliveira.

A defeated Lee has been dealing with knee problems for years now and has since undergone surgery to repair the damage to the ACL.

The surgery was a success and Lee posted the following on Instagram:

 

Here is what Lee said in the Instagram video, with the transcript provided by Mike Bohn of MMA Junkie:

“Two, three years my (expletive) has been torn. I think my ACL probably got hurt in the Oliveira fight. My knee was bent up all crazy at one point.”

There is no word yet on when Lee is going to return to action, as the fighter had said he would take some time off after the loss to Oliveira to improve his skill set before competing again.
