UFC Lightweight Champion Khabib Nurmagomedov hasn’t been seen seen defeating former two division UFC champion Conor McGregor in the main event of UFC 229.

The champion is starting to lay out some future plans, which includes bouts against two former UFC champions and a boxing great.

“I don’t know right now (about retirement),” Khabib said on Submission Radio (via MMA Fighting). “Why not maybe (Georges) St. Pierre, (Tony) Ferguson and (Floyd) Mayweather, it will be these three guys and we can retire and become the greatest athlete of all time.”

Mayweather was last seen in a boxing exhibition at Rizin 14, while Ferguson last competed at UFC 229 and GSP was last seen in action at UFC 217.

Ali Abdelaziz and Javier Mendez both recently shared their thoughts on some future plans for the champion, but Nurmagomedov says that everybody is having different opinions on what should be next.

“I have a big team . . .and everybody thinks a little bit different,” Khabib said. “If you talk about it, my father thinks different, Javier thinks different, my management thinks different. But when the athletic commission makes a decision, we’re gonna sit with my old team and make a decision what I’m gonna do next. But right now, if you guys ask me, of course he not deserve a title shot rematch, Conor, because he lose, he tapped. It wasn’t a close fight. I dominated him everywhere in every aspect and I beat him. Like a told, I smashed him. Why we need a rematch?”

It could be awhile before Nurmagomedov fights anybody, as he and McGregor are still awaiting punishment from the Nevada State Athletic Commission (NSAC) for their roles in the UFC 229 post-fight brawl.
