King Mo Topples Rampage Jackson, Gets Big Fight For Bellator 180

King Mo and Rampage Jackson's second fight couldn't have been more different than their first.

"King Mo" Lawal walked away with a unanimous decision victory at Bellator 175, wrestling his way to three 29-28 score cards. Quinton Jackson, who weighed 50 pounds heavier than their 2014 bout at Bellator 120. While Rampage's weight allowed him to stifle a couple of takedowns, ultimately it was too much for the aging fighter, who put up a valiant effort. Following the fight, the two shook hands and showed respect following a bitter rivalry. 

Unranked UFC Fighters to Watch out for in 2024

Following the fight, it was announced that Mo (21-6, 1 NC) would take on new Bellator signing Ryan Bader (22-5) at Bellator 180 on June 24. The fight won't air on the Bellator NYC pay-per-view portion of the show, instead running on Spike TV.

Bader had previously been challenged by Bellator Light Heavyweight Champion Phil Davis. With Bader and Mo now booked, and other top ranked fighters Linton Vassell and Liam McGeary set to fight in May, Fightful's rankings have Alessio Sakara possibly in line for a title shot.

Bellator 180/NYC takes place June 24 from Madison Square Garden in New York City.
