No one will accuse UFC Greenville of being the most star studded UFC card, especially sandwiched between UFC 238 and UFC 239. But Saturday's event featured a main event that promised fireworks.
#12 "The Korean Zombie" Chan Sung Sung was a UFC Featherweight Title challenger before a shoulder injury and mandatory military service kept him out of the UFC for years. He took on a tall task, and a man looking to get to that title challenger level in #5 Renato Moicano. The Zombie didn't let that happen, though.
Chan Sung Jung immediately stepped in and drilled the favored Moicano, dropping him to the mat. He was quick in following up with ground and pound from the back, finishing his opponent. It would be the Zombie's first UFC win since February 2017, but makes him 2-1 since returning to the company.
Another impressive note, if Jung ends up getting a performance of the night bonus from the UFC, all of his seven fights with the company will either result in a bonus, or a title fight.
