KOTC Veteran Gets 8 Month Jail Sentence After Being Found Guilty On Domestic Battery Charges

MMA

Frank Schuman?s professional MMA career has been put on hold because the fighter has been sentenced to eight months in prison after being found guilty of three counts of domestic battery.

News Watch 12 reports the fighter was found guilty on three of eleven charges brought against him by an ex-wife in 2016. Schuman had been found guilty of jamming an AR-15 assault rifle into the eye socket of the ex-wife, threatening to kill his ex-wife, plus the King Of the Cage veteran pushed and dragged his ex-wife by the hair while also kicking at the victim.

The fighters ex-wife claims that Schuman is a serial abuser of both women and children:

?Frank is a serial abuser of women and children. I will never be the same. Frank has caused me irreparable harm. I can still feel what he did to me, hear the hate in his words.?

Once the fighter gets out of prison, a further ruling by Judge Michael Bloom states that Schuman will also serve three years of probation.

Steve Lucareli served as Schuman?s defense attorney and he claims the MMA fighter was treated unfairly due to what profession that he holds:

?What?s happened to Mr. Schuman is because his profession is as an MMA fighter. He?s been tarred with the claim that he?s a violent person. Now that the trial is over and the determination has been made, when does he get an opportunity to get his life back??

Schuman will serve the eight month prison term in the Vilas County (Wisconsin) Jail. Schuman was last seen in action earlier this year at King Of The Cage: Mercenaries 2, defeating Kyle Angerman by second round submission.
