Lewis Ritson vs. Miguel Vazquez Announced, Jeff Horn's Next Fight Set | Fight-Size Boxing Update

Here's your fight-size boxing update for February 11, 2020:

- Matchroom Boxing revealed Lewis Ritson will face Miguel Vazquez in the main event of a card from the Newcastle Utilita Arena on April 4. A number of notable fights were announced, including the following:

- Former WBO welterweight champion Jeff Horn will face Tim Tszyu in a junior middleweight bout on April 22 in Australia. Horn has fought all three of his fights as a middleweight since dropping his WBO title to Terence Crawford in 2018, sporting a 2-1 record in those fights.

- The WBO has ordered a purse bid for a light heavyweight title eliminator between Eleider Alvarez and Gilberto Ramirez, set to take place on February 20.

- The IBF has upheld the original result of the Shavkatdzhon Rakhimov vs. Azinga Fuzile super featherweight title eliminator in which Rakhimov won by eighth-round knockout last year. There was controversy surrounding the bout as Fuzile’s team argued there was illegal use of a smelling salt by Rakhimov’s corner in between rounds. As a result, the IBF has ordered super featherweight champion Joseph Diaz Jr. to fight Rakhimov by July 30, 2020 and Fuzile to fight in a title eliminator and the winner of both fights must fight by April 30, 2021.

- Banner Promotions has signed undefeated heavyweight Isaac Munoz Gutierrez (12-0-1, 10 KO) to a co-promotional deal with United Promotions.

- In the lead up to his headline clash with Jessie Vargas on February 29, Matchroom Boxing spent a day in camp with Mikey Garcia at his California home.

- Welterweight prospect Reshat Mati will fight on the Scott Quigg vs. Jono Carroll undercard on March 7 at the Manchester Arena.
