The vacant Cage Warriors Light Heavyweight Title will get a new owner at Cage Warriors 81 as Karl Moore takes on Josh Clark. It will serve as the main event of the show.
Moore (7-1-0) is currently undefeated under the Cage Warriors banner, having defeated the trio of Richie Knox, Lloyd Clarkson and Paco Estevez. Moore has only suffered a single defeat in his professional MMA career, which came to UFC veteran Paul Craig at BAMMA 22 in September 2015. Moore also holds a victory over a UFC veteran as well, as he defeated Cyril Asker by third round submission at Cage Contender 17.
Clark (10-3-0) will be making his Cage Warriors debut in this fight and he was also a cast member on the UFC Ultimate Fighter 19. During his time on the UFC Ultimate Fighter 19, Clark made it all the way to the quarterfinals, before losing to eventual winner Corey Anderson. Clark also fought once under the Bellator MMA banner, suffering a defeat to John Troyer at Bellator 30.
Cage Warriors 81 takes place on Saturday, March 4 from the 3 Arena in Dublin, Ireland with Karl Moore and Josh Clark headlining, the main card will be airing live on UFC Fight Pass.
