A lightweight division attraction is the latest addition to the Bellator 183 card as Adam Piccolotti is in action against Goiti Yamauchi.
Piccolotti (9-0-0) has already earned five victories under the Bellator MMA banner, defeating Andrew Ramm, Salvador Becerra, Mario Soto, Ray Wood and Brandon Girtz. Piccolotti also competed four times in the Dragon House MMA promotion, winning all four of his fights in the promotion. Piccolotti has seen two of his five fights in Belator MMA go the distance, while the remaining three fights ended with a submission victory for the fighter.
Yamauchi (21-3-0) is going to be entering the fight on the strength of a two fight winning streak, with those two wins coming over the duo of Ryan Couture and Valeriu Mircea. Yamauchi has only suffered two defeats during his Bellator MMA banner, with those two losses in the promotion coming to Wll Martinez and Bubba Jenkins. Yamauchi also won the Smash Fight four man lightweight tournament, defeating Sergio Silva Rodrigues in the tournament finals.
Bellator 183 takes place on Friday, September 23 from the SAP Center in San Jose, California with Ben Henderson and Patricky Freire headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which airs live on Spike TV.
