Lightweight Fight Added To UFC Fight Night 108

A lightweight division fight has been added to next years UFC Fight Night 108 card as Joe Duffy takes on Reza Madadi.

Duffy (16-2-0) will be competing for the potentially final time in the UFC, as his contract will be complete once the fight is over. Duffy has won three of four fights under the UFC banner, defeating Jake Lindsey, Ivan Jorge and Mitch Clarke, while suffering a lone defeat to Dustin Poirier. Duffy is a former Cage Warriors Lightweight Champion, he defeated Ivan Musardo by fourth round submission at Cage Warriors 44 to win the gold.

Madadi (14-4-0) has rotated wins and losses throughout his UFC career, with the wins coming over Yoislandy Izquierdo, Michael Johnson and Yan Crabral, while suffering defeats to Cristiano Marcello and Norman Parke. Prior to signing with the UFC in 2012, Madadi defeated UFC veterans in three straight fights, those UFC veterans were Junie Browning, Carlo Prater and Rich Clementi. Madadi once had to take a two year break from UFC and MMA competition after he was arrested in Sweden for taking part in a robbery of a store.

UFC Fight Night 108 takes place on Saturday, March 18 from the 02 Arena in London, England with no main event announced at this time.
