The vacant Cage Warriors Lightweight Title is going to get a new owner at Cage Warriors 106 as Jack Grant is in action against Jai Herbert.
This will not be the only title on the line at the event, as the entire main card is going to be nothing but championship bouts.
Grant (15-4-0) is undefeated under the Cage Warriors banner, defeating the trio of Perry Goodwin, Mehdi Dakaev and Aleksi Mantykivi. Grant will enter the contest while in the midst of a six fight winning streak and he hasn’t suffered a loss in almost three years. Grant has suffered four losses as a professional MMA fighter, but he has yet to be beaten by way of submission.
Herbert (8-1-0) is also undefeated in Cage Warriors competition, with his wins coming over the trio of Erdi Karatas, Joe McColgan and Steve O’Keefe. Herbert has competed nine times as a professional MMA fighter and just one bout has gone to the judges scorecards. Herbert has suffered just a single defeat as a professional MMA fighter and that came against Rhys McKee at BAMMA 27.
Cage Warriors 106 takes place on Saturday, June 29 from the Eventim Apollo in London, England with no main event announced at this time. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on UFC Fight Pass.
