The Cage Warriors Lightweight Title will be defended at Cage Warriors 82 as champion Paddy Pimblett will be defending the gold against Nad Narimani.
Pimblett (13-1-0) will be making the second defense of his championship, as he last defended it against Julian Erosa at Cage Warriors Unplugged. Pimblett will be entering this fight on the strength of a nine fight winning streak, a winning streak that has lasted over three years. Pimblett actually won the Cage Warriors Lightweight Title back at Cage Warriors 78, where he defeated Johnny Frachey by first round TKO.
Narimani (9-2-0) has won three of five fights under the Cage Warriors banner, with those three wins coming over the trio of Athinodoros Michailidis, Benjamin Brander and Daniel Requeijo. Narimani has previously challenged for the Cage Warriors Featherweight Title, losing to then champion Alex Enlund at Cage Warriors 73. Narimani will enter the fight riding a two fight winning streak, which includes one win in Cage Warriors and one win in BAMMA.
Cage Warriors 82 takes place on Saturday, April 1 from the Echo Arena Liverpool in Liverpool, England with Paddy Pimblett and Nad Narimani headlining, the main card will be airing live on UFC Fight Pass.
