A lightweight division clash is the latest addition to the upcoming UFC On Fox 25 card as Frankie Perez is in action against Chris Wade.
Perez (10-3-0) has won just one of three fights under the UFC banner, defeating Sam Stout, while suffering losses to the duo of Johnny Case and Marc Diakiese. Perez also competed once in the World Series Of Fighting, where he defeated Tom Marcellino by decision at the WSOF 13. Perez has spent the majority of his professional MMA career in the Ring Of Combat promotion, winning eight of nine fights there.
Wade (11-3-0) has won four of six in UFC competition, with those victories coming over Cain Carrizosa, Lipeng Zhang, Christos Giagos and Mehdi Baghdad. Wade defeated Perez in their first meeting at Ring Of Combat 48 in May 2014, the win came by way of split decision. Wade also competed in the World Series Of Fighting, dropping a bout to Ozzy Dugulubgov at the WSOF 2.
UFC On Fox 25 takes place on Saturday, July 22 from the Nassau Coliseum in Long island, New York with no main event announced at this time. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which airs live on Fox.
