Those odd conditions that McGregor mentioned during the press conference are the the boxing gloves are going to be 10 ounces, neither fighter can use gloves made from Mexico, neither fighter can use gloves made from horse hair and the fight is going to take place at 154 pounds.

McGregor and Mayweather both stated during their time at the podium during the press conference that the conditions didn’t mean much to them. There was no reason given by anybody associated with the fight as to why gloves made from Mexico and gloves made of horse hair couldn’t be used.

The official weight for the fight is again going to be 154 pounds, which is a weight McGregor makes regularly as the UFC Lightweight Champion, as the weight class is 155 pounds.

Conor McGregor versus Floyd Mayweather takes place on Saturday, August 26 from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, with a post-show podcast to follow.
