“They test NFL players for brain trauma. They track them for the life of their career and even outside of their career. So I’ve done all the MRIs and testing with them,” Carmouche said on Pull No Punches.

Carmouche has learned through the study done on her brain that all the numbers associated with it have gone up in the last year.

One reason the fighter believes that the numbers have gone up is that she has started using CBD to improve overall brain health.

“I’m still fighting,” she said. “I still spar everyday. The only thing I do differently is, now I take CBD. And I don’t take all that over-the-counter trash anymore. They said, ‘Whatever it is you’re doing keep doing it because everything has improved. Your memory retention, the trauma in your brain, everything is better.’”

UFC Fight Night Prague takes place on Saturday, February 23 from the 02 Arena in Prague, Czech Republic with Jan Blachowicz and Thiago Santos headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on ESPN+.
