Luis Ortiz, Joe Joyce Round Out Deontay Wilder vs. Tyson Fury PPV Card

The full card for Deontay Wilder's WBC heavyweight title defense against Tyson Fury has been set.

It was previously announced that the co-main event to the December 1 event was a unified junior middleweight title fight between Jarrett Hurd and Jason Welborn. The last two fights on the card have been announced:

The first is a heavyweight bout between Luis Ortiz and Travis Kauffman. Ortiz previously challenged for the WBC heavyweight title back in March, but was stopped by Wilder in the 10th round of their fight. Since then, Ortiz had been trying to secure another title opportunity, but has only fought once which was a knockout win over Razvan Cojanu in July. Kauffman sports a 32-2 record with one no decision with that one coming in a fight against Chris Arreola in 2015. That fight saw Arreola originally win by split decision, but the result was altered after it was revealed that Arreola failed a drug test.

The other fight is another heavyweight clash, but this one is between British prospect Joe Joyce and Joe Adams. Joyce traveled to the United States earlier this year to start fighting there and won his American debut in September when he knocked out Iago Kiladze on a PBC card.

Now that the card is fully finalized, below are the fights for the December 1 pay-per-view:

  • Deontay Wilder (c) vs. Tyson Fury: WBC Heavyweight World Title
  • Jarrett Hurd (c) vs. Jason Welborn: Unified WBA "Super"/IBF Junior Middleweight World Titles
  • Luis Ortiz vs. Travis Kauffman: Heavyweight Bout
  • Joe Joyce vs. Joe Adams: Heavyweight Bout

Fightful will have full coverage of the entire pay-per-view card, taking place at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.
