A women’s bantamweight division attraction has been added to UFC Fight Night Copenhagen, announced by the UFC Europe Twitter page, as #11 Macy Chiasson is in action against #12 Lina Lansberg.
Chiasson (5-0-0) has already picked up three wins under the UFC banner, defeating the trio of Pannie Kianzad, Gina Mazany and Sarah Moras. Chiasson was the female featherweight winner of the UFC Ultimate Fighter 28, defeating the aforementioned Kianzad in the finals. Chiasson has competed five times as a professional MMA fighter and just one of those bouts went the distance.
Lansberg (9-4-0) has rotated wins and losses throughout her UFC run, with the latest bout being a unanimous decision win over Tonya Evinger at UFC Fight Night Stockholm. Lansberg has competed thirteen times as a professional MMA fighter and none of her bouts ended by way of submission. Lansberg is competing for the second time this year, which keeps her average of two bouts per calendar year streak going, with that beginning in 2014.
UFC Fight Night Copenhagen takes place on Saturday, September 28 from the Royal Arena in Copenhagen, Denmark with Jack Hermansson and Jared Cannonier headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on ESPN+.
