Manny Pacquiao To Come Out Of Retirement To Fight Mario Barrios In July

Manny Pacquiao is getting back in the ring.

ESPN reports that Manny Pacquiao will come out of retirement to fight Mario Barrios on July 19th in Las Vegas.

"At this time, Mario Barrios is going to face Manny Pacquiao in July," said WBC president Mauricio Sulaiman. "That's a tremendous fight."

The fight will be available via PBC on Prime Video pay-per-view.

Pacquiao, 46, hasn't fought since August 2021, a unanimous decision loss to Yordenis Ugas for the WBA (super) welterweight championship. He competed in an exhibition boxing match against kickboxer Rukiya Anpo at Super RIZIN 3 in July 2024.

Barrios (29-2-1, 18 KOs) last fought against Abel Ramos on the undercard of Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson. Pacquiao is 62–8–2 in his career with 39 KOs.

The co-main event will be a rematch between unified junior middleweight champion Sebastian Fundora (22-1-1, 14 KOs) and Tim Tszyu (25-2, 18 KOs).
