Manny Pacquiao Does Not Know Who Jeff Horn Is

To say Jeff Horn is an unknown boxer would be an understatement. After all, Manny Pacquiao, Horn's next opponent, doesn't even know who he is.

In an interview with Fox Sports News, Pacquiao said he has no idea who Horn is despite having to fight him on April 22.

"I don't know him," Pacquiao said. "But that's what I heard from the news. But we're not finalizing yet about that fight or any future fights, I didn't talk to Bob Arum yet about that."

Pacquiao did say he doesn't believe he will lose based on what previous opponents saying they would stop the current WBO welterweight champion, only to fail at doing so.

"I'm still there," Pacquiao said. "In my previous fights, many of them are saying they will stop me, they will knock me out. It's not happening. He needs to prove that in the ring. I cannot say if he's ready because I didn't see his style, I haven't seen his face yet. I don't know."

Horn is undefeated as a professional boxer with a 16-0-1 record and is a 2012 Olympics participant for his native Australia. Horn had won a multitude of different boxing titles, including the WBO Oriental, WBO Intercontinental, IBF Intercontinental welterweight titles. This will be the first time Horn will challenge for a world title. The bout is rumored to be fought in Australia.
