After several weeks of anticipation, Keith Thurman and Manny Pacquiao have successfully made weight for their welterweight title bout.
The two stars came in a half-pound under the 147-pound championship limit, clearing the last hurdle before their pay-per-view main event bout. With that being settled, the two boxers will fight for the WBA title at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.
The day of the weigh-ins had plenty of noteworthy news, including a change on the main card. Instead of facing John Molina Jr., Sergey Lipinets will now face Jayar Inson in a welterweight fight but even with the change in opponent, both Lipinets and Inson came in at the welterweight limit of 147 pounds.
As for the rest of the card, all fighters were able to make weight for their respective title bouts. In the other world title fight on the event, Caleb Plant and Mike Lee made weight for their IBF light heavyweight title fight, which will air on FOX before the main card gets underway.
