Mark Kerr Calls For Royce Gracie Biopic: He Opened Everyone’s Eyes
Mark Kerr wants to see a Royce Gracie biopic.
“The Smashing Machine” is a story about Mark Kerr. Kerr is an MMA legend, and his biopic, starring Dwayne Johnson, is getting rave reviews. When appearing on the Game Plan podcast, Kerr was asked who he would like to see get the biopic treatment next.
To his credit, Kerr was honest and named a fellow legend from the early days of UFC, Royce Gracie.
“It’s the origins, man. I really think a biopic about Royce and what he brought to it. There’s no denying, man, he is one of my favorite people in general. Then, as far as what he did, he opened everybody’s eyes. He opened everybody’s eyes to what they thought they knew about toughness, what they thought they knew about mixed martial arts, what they thought they knew about size, and all this stuff. He opened my eyes, going,’ Whoa, what the hell is he doing?’ I think a biopic about him would be awesome.”
