This weekends UFC 235 card will go on with one less bout because a bantamweight division encounter between Marlon Vera and Frankie Saenz has been pulled from the show.

Vera is suffering from an unspecified illness and was pulled from the card, while Saenz would also be pulled from the event because the UFC couldn’t find a replacement opponent in due time. The bout was scheduled for the UFC Fight Pass portion of the preliminary card and the event will now begin at 6:30pm EST., instead of the originally scheduled 6:15pm EST. The card will also move on with 12 fights instead of 13.
