A middleweight division attraction between Marvin Vettori and Karl Roberson was scheduled to happen last night at UFC Fight Night: Smith vs. Teixeira, but the encounter would be pulled from the card after Roberson had health issues due to weight cutting.
However, while Vettori and Roberson didn’t meet in the Octagon, both of them did get into a verbal altercation at the hotel the UFC fighters were staying at.
Nutritionist Matteo Capodaglio captured the video of the altercation, which has since been obtained by MMA Crazy:
The majority of the video is just Vettori yelling expletives at Roberson while being restrained by members of the UFC security team. MMA Junkie also reports that the altercation between Vettori and Roberson was just one of many that happened since both arrived at the hotel.
There is no word yet as to whether or not the two rivals will settle the score in the Octagon or if they will go their separate ways.
