A women’s strawweight bout that was first reported by the Orlando Sentinel has been added to UFC On Fox 28 as #14 Maryna Moroz faces Angela Hill.
Moroz (8-2-0) has won two of her last three under the UFC banner, but is coming off of a loss to Carla Esparza at UFC Fight Night Oklahoma City. Moroz has seen her last four bouts go the distance and it has been nearly three years since one of the competitors encounters ended with a finish. Moroz was set to battle Jamie Moyle at UFC Fight Night St. Louis, but the bout was canned after Moyle suffered an injury.
Hill (7-4-0) has won just one of three in her second UFC run, with that lone win coming over Ashley Yoder at the UFC Ultimate Fighter 25 Finale. Hill is a former Invicta Fighting Championships Strawweight Champion, defeating Livia Renata Souza at Invicta FC 17 to win the gold. Hill competed on the UFC Ultiamte Fighter, losing in the opening round of the reality show to Carla Esparza.
UFC On Fox 28 takes place on Saturday, February 24 from the Amway Center in Orlando, Florida with Josh Emmett and Jeremy Stephens headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which airs live on Fox.
