Carlos Condit won't get the chance to face a perennial "fight of the night" meal ticket in Matt Brown at UFC on Fox 29, but he has a "Cowboy" on the slate instead.
Alex "Cowboy" Oliveira (18-4-1) has answered the call and will compete against the former UFC Interim Welterweight Champion in Condit (30-11). Condit's original opponent Matt Brown tore his ACL and forced him out of the planned bout.
The 33-year old Condit looks to halt a 3-fight losing streak that has taken place over the past two years, and has only two wins in the last six years. Oliveira on the other hand has only one loss in his last six fights, and two losses over his last ten.
UFC on Fox 29 takes place on April 15 from the Gila River Arena from Glendale, Arizona. The main card takes place on Fox, and also features Fight Pass early prelims. Fightful.com will have full, live coverage as well as a post-show podcast.
